Jay Jay Pistolet is singer-songwriter Justin James Hayward-Young, formerly of Eldora Parade Pistolet is from the New Forest, but now London-based, he has played supporting Noah and the Whale Slow Club, and Katie Melua and performs either solo or with his support band (feat. Mumford And Sons singer Marcus Mumford) He usually plays guitar but also companies out there with a mandolin or piano
He has released the single "We Are Free (on Chess Club Records) and an EP Happy Birthday You (on Stiff Records), but many more demos floating around on the internet

On MySpace blog September 24 Hayward-Young announced the end (for the foreseeable future) of his record as Jay Jay Pistolet:
'order now im on downmy acoustic guitar that is to say that I will not play shows or release material which Jay Jay Pistolet in the near future change is upon us, but death is not bad to be back on now but im concentrating on a new musical project that will take me to a whole new direction im incredibly excited stay tuned ... "
