Victoria Hesketh (born May 4, 1984), professionally known as Little Boots is a British musician, she sings plays synthesizers Yamaha tenori-on and stylophone She was a former singer / synth player in Dead Disco
Hesketh was born in Thornton - Cleveleys near Blackpool Lancashire and lives now in London, she went Rossall School Blackpool Sixth Form College and then at the University of Leeds have a first class degree in Cultural Studies with a thesis on "The concept of originality in music by Jamie Cullum"
At age 18 Hesketh participated in the TV talent show Pop Idol eliminated after three rounds, she went on to form a jazz trio toured Europe with a big band and later formed the dance-pop band Dead Disco release successivtbort from the band and their style that she Baganwriting songs on his own and left the Dead Disco in August 2007 Her solo artist's name comes from a nickname given to her by a friend after watching Caligula (the Latin name Caligula means "little boots")

She released her second single, Meddle August 18, 2008 of 50 bone label, there was a limited Edition 7 "and was produced by both Joe Goddardand Greg Kurstin
In January 2009 she won the BBC Sound of 2009 as previously acquired by the likes of Keane Mika and Adele (BBC link)

Little Boots performed at several festivals during the summer of 2009 in support of their debut album
