Anahi Giovanna Puente Portilla, also known as Anahí, (born May 14th, 1983 in Mexico), is an actress and singer.
She began her career as a child participating in several television series and movies, several of which earned her awards such as the Ariel Award and the Palme d’Or Award. She gained international fame after being cast as Mia Colucci in the hit Mexican telenovela Rebelde, and as a member of the Latin Grammy-nominated pop group RBD. In 1996 she released her first album titled Anahí. She later released a sophomore album titled Hoy es mañana which featured the singles “Descontrolándote,” “Por Volverte a Ver,” and “Corazón de Bombon.” After releasing Anclado en Mi Corazón, Baby Blue came out in 2000 and included the hit single “Primer Amor.”
She released her 4th album on November 24th, 2009. The first single is Mi Delirio listen. |
