Born in Toronto, Canada Andreena Mill grew up the 3rd child of 5 sisters. Her father, a musician and recording artist himself, recognized her singing talent at the age 3 and put her in piano lessons the very next year. By age 11, Andreena began recording and writing her own material with the help of her influential father. While attending The Etobicoke School of the Arts, majoring in Music Theatre she studied and performed other types of music such as Opera, Broadway, Classical and Jazz music. In 2001 Andreena became a member of Canadian female trio X-Quisite. The following year, the group released two successful singles- “No Regrets”, which followed with a music video for “Don’t Say”. The songs landed the girls U.M.A.C and Juno Award Nominations in 2003 as well as being featured on hit shows such as “Soul Food” and the Canadian hit television show “Degrassi, The Next Generation”. X-Quisite continued to perform and were featured on the “Mike Bullard Show”, Much Music’s “Electric Circus” and “Much On Demand”. The singles were domestic successes, garnering the girls their first press and video experience until the group’s demise in mid 2003. In 2005 Andreena released her first solo single “Rewind” which featured and was produced by Canadian Producer/Rapper/Singer Saukrates. During that same year, she wrote and was featured in both singles for Canadian Idol runner up Gary Beals, whose record sold 5000 copies in the first week of it being released. As a “Rock and Soul artist” Andreena is still growing artistically and striving to become one of the consummate artists she admires.
