Chris Corner (age 36) is a musician. He has been a founding member of the Sneaker Pimps since 1995, and is also currently recording under the name of IAMX. As vocalist for The Sneaker Pimps Corner’s emotional vocals are credited as a major contributing factor to the band’s success. Corner was vocalist for the albums Bloodsport and Splinter, although the band has announced that his vocals will not be used for any upcoming album. Chris Corner is currently residing in Berlin, Germany and has most recently released the third album of IAMX titled Kingdom of Welcome Addiction, as well as a French film soundtrack Les Chevaliers Du Ciel. In addition to IAMX, Chris Corner also makes music with his ex-girlfriend Sue Denim under the name The Siblings. Chris Corner has also modelled for Belgian magazine “Le Weekend” and has appeared in the BBC comedy series The Mighty Boosh. Chris attended Mill Hill school till he was 16 and then Acklam Sixth Form College. He then went on to study philosophy at Goldsmith’s College, London. He has also worked as a producer, producing Robots in Disguise, and one song for Nemo. |
