Faydee accomplished his first taste of success through his first Single release, the Double A Side Track “Breakthrough/Not In The Mood”. The Single received an astounding response from the industry and the public, receiving 6 months rotation on commercial FM radio in Australia aswell as selling out in retailers across Sydney. Following the success of his last single, Faydee went on to release “Wonder Why”. The track struck a nerve with fans with its intriguing storyline about a lovers deception aswell as its sample from hip hop legend Tupac’s “Wonder Why They Call You Bytch”. “Wonder Why” was so well received that the publishers representing Tupac gladly gave exclusive rights to use the sample and release it worldwide. Faydee followed up with his most popular song to date “Never Ever” The frenetic, funked up energy of this track catapulted Faydee onto the International arena. Faydee is now a phenomenon on the internet, commanding over 1500 plays a day on his MySpace page. This rivals many established worldwide Artists of today. This triple threat singer/songwriter/producer has been able to hold the Number 1 position on the R&B Australian MySpace Charts for most of 2008. In addition to MySpace, the site YouTube holds over 70 fan videos of his music and counting. Download programs such as Limewire and many forums and blogs from around the globe are constantly circulating his music. He is now at a point in his career where he headlines many of the prominent nightclubs and venues in Australia such as DCM’s, Space Bar, Sapphire Suite, Home Nightclub, Big Night Out, Auto Salon, Veevees Lounge, Meche Nightclub and the list goes on. With even more demand coming from across the globe, plans are now being made into fulfilling those requests. Faydee’s up coming album “Never Saw Me Coming” is due for release early 2009 through his record label Buckle Up Entertainment. A national tour across Australia is currently being set up. In addition, a promotional tour in Germany is in the works with ‘Company Entertainment’ who were responsible for bringing out American hit artists Colby O Donis and Francisco, they are currently organising to bring out Faydee in the coming months.
