In 2004 she was awarded the Songwriter Award by national song association, APRA, in the national Musicoz competition. 2006 followed with a JB Seed Award from Australia’s top Independent musician, John Butler, recognising Jessica as an outstanding emerging artist. This enabled her to tour with her band of Paige Boys from Melbourne to Brisbane and back in support of her EP release “Under My Skin”. In March 2008 Jessica was invited by APRA to perform her songs at the national S3 Song Summit in Sydney. Jessica is performing in solo, duo (with her brother Josh Romig) and band modes (as 5 piece band “Jess & the Paige Boys”). Her songs are folky, contemporary, poetic, poignant and mostly ballads.
