Kendi is a new side project by Finnish dance music veteran JS16 (Jaakko Salovaara) and rapper Yavis. Kendi released their first single, called Connected, in mid 2008.
The male vocalist in Kendi’s songs is Vince Jackson alias Patric Sarin. He was also one of the jury in fourth season of Finnish television show “Idols” which is based on the British Pop Idol format.
Kendi released their second single called Heartbeat Of The City in september 2008 and their debut album “Loudspeaker” was released in October 1st in Finland.
