Kevin Max is one of the three members of dc Talk and began his solo career in 2001 with the album “Stereotype Be”. The record was marketed towards christian music listeners by default, but was not a Christian album, and flopped as a result of the CCM industry “blacklisting” both the album and the artist.
However, after a few years the album became a cult success with Christians and non-Christians alike. Max has since followed up “Stereotype Be” with two EPs (“Between the Fence and the Universe” and “Holy Night”) and 2 LPs, named “The Imposter”, and “The Blood” in December 2007. In December 2008, he released “Crashing Gates”. |
