Though they’d been together since high school, the group— which consists of Madlib, Wildchild and DJ Romes — first made their presence known in 1994.Their first recording, the Ill Psych Move EP, came out in 1996 on Crate Digger’s Palace. Following this, they caught the attention of Stones Throw Records founder Peanut Butter Wolf. Eventually signing to the label, Lootpack recorded Soundpieces: Da Antidote. |
