Mini Viva are an English pop duo formed in London in 2008 consisting of singers Frankee Connolly and Britt Love. Their debut single, “Left My Heart in Tokyo”, was released to critical acclaim in September 2009 and peaked at #7 on the UK Singles Chart. The track was produced by pop songwriting production house Xenomania, who have previously worked with Girls Aloud, Sugababes, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Kylie Minogue, and co-written by Annie and Fred Falke. Second single, “I Wish” was equally well-received by critics but failed in the charts. A full-length album is expected in May 2010, with contributions from producers Cutfather, Louis Gibzen and Quiz & Larossi in addition to Xenomania. It has been confirmed by the band that the third single is “One Touch”, which Mini Viva debuted at a live performance in February, 2010. Mini Viva supported The Saturdays on their The Work Tour in 2009. Frankee and Britt are currently touring small venues and working DJ gigs across the UK. |
