Panoramic & True is a Chicago, Il band based around the songwriting of John Lennox, an émigré from Canada, that combines a wide range of styles - indie, folk, golden age rock, country, and 60s pop - with contributions from A.J. Bautista (violin), Amanda McLaughlin (violin), Randy Mollner (viola), Katy Myers (cello), Brahm Fetterman (percussion, keyboards), and Daniel Groll (percussion). Lennox has released two solo albums, Eponymous (2003) and Into the Bull’s Shoulder (2005), Bull’s Shoulder winning general acclaim. Lennox’s songs have recently appeared in the film Four Sheets to the Wind, a winner at Sundance 2007. He has performed with acts diverse as the Waco Brothers, the Oranges Band, the Besnard Lakes, Handsome Furs, and Eleni Mandell in venues throughout North America and in Europe.
