Tha Connection made their debut in the Rawkus Records Digital 50 with their appearance on 12bits release “Stranded on Planet Rock”. Since than, they gone on to release and appear on the “Cosmic Bounce” EP by SmooVth and Drums, Hus The KingPin appearance on “Love Song” from Fella Vaughn’s “Do My Thing” single (Melting Pot Music) and a few promotional EP’s to introduce themselves to the myspace world that have gone on to gain tons of positive feedback and many new fans in the hip hop world. Their hard work and consistency is now starting to show, recently they signed with Goontrax in Japan for their first retail release that should be in stores December of this year. And to continue on, they are now preparing a few releases with Domination Recordings. Their first release will be “Universal Dominance” that will be available for free download. The 12-track release includes production from Sci Fi, Max I Million, 12bit, DJ Kryptonite, Reeplay, AGQ, Elaquent, Darkitect, Vans Cal and Ialone. The duo released their first album via Goon Trax (a label in Tokyo, Japan) entitled “Moon Water” in 2008. The “Moon Water” album is currently only available in Japan on CD/Vinyl/Digital formats. Later that same year, Tha Connection released their second digital only album worldwide on Domination Recordings entitled “Trapeze”. Then, in 2009 Tha Connection released their third album “Love Royale” via Feelin’Music in Switzerland. Solo projects include Sweden label, Peakaboo Music’s release of SmooVth debut album “SmooVth and Drums - The Cosmic Bounce” in 2007. In Nov. 2009, Yokohama, Japan label River City Music Ent. released the solo Hus Japan only album “Hus - Soul Swim”. Digi Crates Records then released a digital only 2nd solo release from Hus entitled “Hus - Amaeru EP”, on Feb. 19, 2010. Domination Recordings then released, SmooVth 2nd solo album entitled “SmooVth - Checkmate”, currently available online at all digital stores and the CD version at UGHH.com, Accesshiphop.com etc. Then on May 26th, 2010, Hus released his Japan only CD version via Tokyo label Libyus Music, entitled “Hus + Libyus Creators - The Love Movement”. |
