The Age of Love is Bruno Sanchioni & Giuseppe Cherchia. They are famous for the self-titled classic pre-trance era track, “The Age of Love”, whose Jam & Spoon’s “Watch out for Stella” remix is the most popular version. A one-off project that unexpectedly became a key moment for the development of progressive trance in the late 90s, the Age of Love’s self-titled “Age of Love” became a classic, getting remixed by a host of producers. This was a favourite at the UK club Rennaisance which was at the forefront of the UK progressive house scene, alongside djs Sasha and John Digweed.Produced by BBE members Bruno Sanchioni and Giuseppe Cherchia, “Age of Love” was originally released by the Belgian label Diki Records. The React label subsequently released Jam and Spoon’s remix of the track to a global audience, and more remixes followed by such artists as Paul van Dyk and Emmanuel Top. Despite the song’s popularity, Sanchioni and Cherchia never released another Age of Love track, continuing to produce music as BBE. |
